This Privacy Policy explains how Aether ("we," "our," or "the App") handles your information. Aether is an independent third-party client application for iOS designed to display weather station telemetry from Weathercloud.net. Your privacy is a fundamental priority: we do not collect, store, track, or sell your personal data.
01.Information Handling & Collection
A. Account & Authentication Data
Authentication credentials (your email and password) are never collected, processed, or stored on external servers by Aether. All login procedures occur directly via Weathercloud's official authentication interface. Upon successful sign-in, session tokens (PHPSESSID) are archived locally on your device (HTTPCookieStorage) solely to maintain your active login status.
B. Weather Telemetry & Profile Data
All weather telemetry (outdoor temperature, humidity, pressure, wind velocity, rainfall, solar radiation, indoor metrics, and 24-hour historical evolution trends) is fetched directly from Weathercloud.net to render on your screen. Your public account handle and plan tier badge (Pro/Basic) are read directly from your session to format your profile in the App.
C. No Analytics or Advertising Tracking
Aether contains zero third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or crash tracking services. We do not collect device identifiers (such as IDFA or IDFV), IP addresses for tracking, or location data.
02.Third-Party Services
Aether communicates directly with Weathercloud servers (app.weathercloud.net) to fetch station data. Your interaction with Weathercloud's infrastructure is subject to Weathercloud's official terms and privacy policies. Aether is an independently developed application and is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Weathercloud.net.
03.Data Storage and Security
All session tokens, cached station references, and app settings remain strictly on your local iOS device inside Apple's native application sandbox. We do not operate developer servers or external databases, meaning your data is never transmitted to or backed up on third-party servers managed by us.
04.Children's Privacy
Aether does not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from children under the age of 13. The application does not gather personal identity information from any user.
05.Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app enhancements or legal updates. Any revised policy will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
